Calvin B. (Benny) Woods P.E. has accumulated 30 years of experience in diesel powered equipment and electric power. He has been directly involved in evaluating equipment failures on a broad variety of systems and equipment. The evaluations identified the cause of failure and the extent of damage. Mr. Woods has been actively engaged in the Power and Equipment Industries since graduation from Texas Tech University in 1970 (BSEE). Registered in the State of Texas, Mr. Woods brings to Unified Building Sciences & Engineering, Inc. his vast experience in failure analysis and damage assessment.

Brian H. Cavern P.E. knowledge of MEP systems in the construction and renovation of buildings spans a period of 40 years. This includes experience involving office buildings, manufacturing plants, schools, hotels, retail and churches. His expertise encompasses the analysis and design of MEP systems and the design of energy management systems. His past background also includes experience as a field technician and service contractor on HVAC and refrigeration systems, employment as a facilities engineer in high-tech manufacturing environments and as a mechanical contractor.
